Here is a full listing
of our adventures in 2017. Although we did not do as many walks in 2016, progress was made by Little Eric in bagging more of the Lakeland Fells, and for Southey, he is just one walk away from completing the Limestone challenge (the area around the Three Peaks in Yorkshire).
So the completion of this by summiting Whernside, once again, is one of the priorities. Little Eric also hopes to make further progress in with the Birketts and Wainwrights. Even so is still adamant that Dad does not have to repeat all the fells to complete the challenge, bearing in mind the problems Dad is suffering with his back. We so enjoyed doing the Bowland Fells in 2015, so much so that Little Eric has suggested that we could redo some of those. The rest of us like this idea too.
Otherwise we look forward to just enjoying the wonderful countryside of Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire
Our final list, this year was shorter. This was due to Dad having less time to devote to walks and the weather. Nevetheless we say a big thank you to Dad for the days out we had.
