Here is a full listing
of our adventures in 2010. At the start of each year, we, with
Dad, like to set ourselves some specific aims to achieve, and
this year there were two. For our pal Allen, it was to complete
climbing all the 214 Wainwright summits. Secondly, for all of us,
Dad included, but with the exception of Little Eric, it was to
complete the challenge of climbing all the Howgill Fells. So how
did we do? Allen says, "after seven walks, to my absolute
delight I finished the Wainwright challenge on 19th August, when
I reached the summit of Grisedale Pike." Tetley, who writes
the Howgill blog, says, "Dad was determined that Shaun,
Grizzly, Allen and I should finish the Howgills together. To do
this we have to thank him for re-climbing no less that 18 of the
hills, so that we, and Dad too of course, could achieve this
challenge on reaching the summit of Linghaw on 3rd
November."
During 2021, we undertook a rewrite of all these stories, improving and adding extra pictures and information. We hope you will enjoy reading some of our enhanced accounts.
